IncepX-Ensemble: Performance Enhancement Based on Data Augmentation and Hybrid Learning for Recycling Transparent PET Bottles

Recycling used plastic bottles is a significant step towards environmental protection and land pollution. Lifestyle changes in developing countries such as South Korea have substantially impacted the increase use rate of waste year by year. Plastic various types usually varied recycling values. In most countries, human labor to manually categorize handle recyclable waste. This study aims provide an automated transparent bottle classification system that can be replace existing trash disposal methods. Studies on usefulness Transfer Learning (TL) Ensemble (EL) techniques image categorization been conducted recently. At first developed InceptonV3, Xception, ResNet152, DenseNet169 based TL structure. Then enhance level, we proposed ensemble model with InceptionV3 named IncepX-Ensemble, classify images well-manner poorly images. After that, evaluate algorithm, applied data augmentation overcome imbalanced problem. our research, accuracy for predicting value reached 99.76% accuracy. The model’s potential limitations also has examined. method provides essential pollution control.
